It is with deepest sympathy Godfrey Funeral Home announces Mr. Alfred Goosby, age 73, departed this life Monday, November 20, 2023, peacefully at home.

The Celebration of Life for the late Mr. Alfred Goosby, will be Thursday, November 30, 2023, 1:00 p.m., at Morningstar Baptist Church, 1151 Howell Road, Valdosta, GA, 31601.

Pastor David A. Adams will be officiating. Rev. Naamen Hooker is pastor.

Interment will follow in the Riverview Memorial Gardens, 3945 N. Valdosta Rd, Valdosta, GA.

Public viewing will be Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Godfrey Funeral Home, Valdosta, GA. The family will greet family and friends between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

The Celebration of Life will be live streamed on our Facebook Page.

All those who wish to pay their respect in person must wear mask at the public viewing and at the funeral service.
