Antwan Terrell Sims

On December 20 1977, Ms. Cynthia Sims and Mr. Devan Fleming was blessed with a beautiful baby boy, Antwan “Peanut” Sims.

On June 29, 2014, the Lord called this handsome young man from earth to glory—free from all his worries and pains.

“Peanuts” favorite quotes were: “Give me some dap” and “Keep it moving”.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Mack Sims, Beulah Sims and Elizabeth Hodge.

He leaves to cherish his wonderful memories: his mother, Ms. Cynthia Sims of Valdosta, GA; his father: Mr. Devan (Dale) Fleming of Valdosta, GA; four brothers: Mr. Torrey Sims, Samuel Dart, Anthony Fleming all of Valdosta, GA, and Eric Sims of Atlanta, GA; two sisters: Terri Fleming and Tracy Fleming of Valdosta, GA; one grandmother:: Mrs. Lillie Frazier of Valdosta, GA; a hosts of aunts and uncles: Jenel Patterson (William) of Miami, FL, Calvin Sims of Valdosta, GA, Johnny Sims (Sharon) of Valdosta, GA, Jeanette Inman (John) of Eastman, GA, Janice Peak (William) of Valdosta, GA, Raymond Sims of Atlanta, GA, Shirley Bonner of Hahira, GA, Brenda Hodge of Valdosta, GA, Linda Haynes (Rodney) of Valdosta, GA, Cynthia Williams of Valdosta, GA, Jacqueline Hodge of Valdosta, GA, Gloria Barber (Clarence) of Clearwater, FL, Elder Ellis Hodge (Teralyn), and Fred Hodge (Evelyn); five nephews; five nieces; special nieces, nephews and cousins: Shamika and Kayla Cowart of Ft. The celebration of life for the late Mr. Antwan Terrell Sims will be held Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 4:00pm from the sanctuary of Christian Love Bible Baptist Church.

Jimmy Boyd is the pastor.

Pastor J. Bernard Braswell II will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Public viewing will be held Friday, July 4, 2014 from 10:00am - 6:00pm at Godfrey Funeral Home.
