It is with deepest sympathy Godfrey Funeral Home announces Mrs. Barbara J. Ponder, age 83, departed this life Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at South Georgia Medical Center.

The Celebration of Life for the late Mrs. Barbara Jean Ponder, will be Saturday, December 24, 2022, 1:00 p.m., from the sanctuary of Eastside Church of Christ, 1248 N. Lee St., Valdosta, GA.

Brother Gene Godfrey will be officiating.

Interment will follow in the Pallbearer Cemetery, 2660 Riverside Road, Valdosta, GA.

Public viewing will be Friday, December 23, 2022, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Godfrey Funeral Home.

All those who wish to pay their respect in person must wear mask at the public viewing and the funeral service.
