I t is with deepest sympathy Godfrey Funeral Home announces Mr. Benjamin F. Matchett II, age 73, departed this life Wednesday, April 19, 2023.

The Celebration of Life for the late Mr. Benjamin F. Matchett will be Sunday, April 23, 2023, 2:00 p.m., Greenwood Baptist Church, 1645 East Park Avenue, Valdosta, GA.

Interment will follow in the Pallbearers Cemetery, 2660 Riverside Road, Valdosta, GA.

Pastor Mike Nelligan will be officiating.

Public viewing will be Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Godfrey Funeral Home, 636 River Street, Valdosta, GA., from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

All those who wish to pay their respect in person to the viewing and the service must wear mask at the public viewing and the funeral service.
