It is with deepest sympathy Godfrey Funeral Home announces Ms. Bernice Bivins King-Sheppard, age 86, of Adel, GA departed this life Thursday, July 8, 2021.

The Celebration of Life for the late Ms. Bernice Bivins King-Sheppard will be Saturday, July 17, 2021, 11:00 a.m., from the sanctuary of St. John A.M.E. Church, 800 W. Magnolia Street, Valdosta.

Pastor Gerald Bailey will officiate and words of comfort by Reverend Kelly Faulk, Pastor, St. John A.M.E. Church.

Interment will follow in the at Riverview Memorial Gardens, 3945 N. Valdosta Road, Valdosta.

Public viewing will be Friday, July 16, 2021, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Godfrey Funeral Home.

All those who wish to pay their respect in person must wear mask at the public viewing and at the church service.
