Betty Ann Luster was born June, 26, 1930, in Milledgeville, GA, to the late Mammie Brown and Herbert Reeves.
“Mama” was what she was affectionately referred to by her loving son, George, but there was a select few who called her by her first and middle name, “Betty Ann.” Always a nurturer and a giver, she did the best that she could, no matter the outcome. Growing up in the Bible belt, she knew the significant of having God in her life. Betty Ann was a God fearing woman and mother who showed unconditional love and for that, this family is eternally grateful. One of her favorite passages of scripture was Psalm 91 and Psalm 23.
On Sunday, December 8, 2019, at 9:00 p.m. our mother peacefully departed this life at home and entered into peaceful rest.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dave Luster, a daughter: Belinda Ann Luster; a sister: Hazel Taylor; a nephew: Robert Wiggin, Jr. and a loving lifelong friend: Mrs. Roxie Grier.
Betty Ann Luster leaves behind four children and a daughter-in-law: Arthur Luster (Ruth) of Miami, FL, Clifford Luster of Miami, FL, George Luster of Valdosta, GA and Anita Ann Luster of Miami, FL; a loving brother: Robert Wiggins, Sr. of Miami, FL; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
