It is with deepest sympathy Godfrey Funeral Home announces, Mrs. Betty Jean Myers Freeman Vann, age 87, departed this life Saturday, June 14, 2025.

The Celebration of Life for the late Mrs. Betty Jean Myers Freeman Vann will be Saturday, June 21, 2025, 11:00 a.m., at Woodlawn Forrest Church of Christ, 1515 Barack Obama Blvd., Valdosta, GA.

Evangelist LeRoy Butler, Jr. will be officiating.

Interment will follow at the Mt. Zion AME Church Cemetery, Valdosta, GA.

Public viewing will be Friday, June 20, 2025, at Godfrey Funeral Home, 636 River St., Valdosta, GA, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The family fish fry will be at 3472 Mabel Road, Valdosta, GA starting at 7:00 p.m.

There will be no repast however, the family will gather at Ole Times Country Buffet, Valdosta, GA after the interment.
