Beulah Lee Sims

On November 17, 1929, God placed me in the caring arms of the late Kato Washington and Minerva Osborn.

On December 18, 2013, the sweet angels from heaven above sealed my life at 500 Orange Street, Valdosta, GA. Even though my stay was all too brief, you will have loving memories as solace for your grief. Release me and let me go, because I have so many things that God wants me to do.

God blessed me to unite in Holy Matrimony with Mack Sims on February 5, 1955.

To my children, who went on before me, Henry Thomas and Bennie Thomas, I can’t wait to see you.

To my beautiful daughters and sons in-law: Jenel Patterson (William) of Miami, FL, Shirley Bonner, Cynthia Sims and Janice Peak (William) of Valdosta, GA and Jeanette Inman (John) of Eastman, GA — It’s hard to say goodbye, but I must go, for the Lord has other plans for me. Always remember, that I’m watching over you. I Love You All.

To my sons and daughter in-law: Calvin Sims, Johnny Sims (Sharon) of Valdosta, GA and Raymond Sims of Atlanta, GA — Promise me, you will continue to look out for the family and take care of your sisters. Remember, I Love You All.

To my devoted granddaughter, Vanessa Watts, thank you for always being there, doing everything you needed to do, when I really needed you the most. Always remember, I Love You.

To my special grandchildren: Jurrol Johnson, Tiffany Lewis, Felecia Denson, Antwan Sims, Latoya Watts, Latalya Watts and Shamika Cowart, I’ll forever be in your hearts. I Love You.

To my sister, Katie Futch, I’m gone to a better place. Glory be to God, I have found my peace.

To my daughter in-law: Mozella Thomas, my sister in-law: Roberta Polk, and my brother in-law: L.D. Sims, always keep the family in your prayers.

To all of my twenty seven grandchildren, thirty one great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild: thank you for being there and helping out in my care. Don’t weep for me, for I have gone to a better place.

The homegoing celebration for the late Mrs. Beulah Lee Sims, will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 11:00am from the sanctuary of Christian Love Bible Baptist Church.

Pastor J. Bernard Braswell II will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
