Ms. Breanna Lillie Staten

Breanna Lillie Staten was born December 30, 1997 in Valdosta, GA, to Laytosha Allen and Rickey Staten.

Breanna received her education from the Valdosta City School and was a proud graduate of Valdosta High School. She furthered her education at Wiregrass College. Later, she enlisted in the Army National Guard aspiring to be a Neonatal Nurse.

Breanna was an anointed and passionate praise dancer for God. She was very loving, compassionate and had quite a sense of humor. She had a love for everybody. Some of her hobbies included: cooking, hairstyling and she loved to eat! Breanna was a shopping “DIVA”.

She is preceded in death by two grandmothers: Bertha Allen and Betty Carter; a grandfather: James Staten; three aunts: Dorothy Allen, Betty Allen and Margaret Owens; and one cousin: Clarrisha Harrison.

Breanna leaves to cherish her memories, her mother: Laytosha Allen; her father: Rickey Staten; three sisters: Ziya Doe, Jackie Carter, and Rickell Staten; three brothers: Lewis Allen, Jamarcus Allen and Michael Robinson; grandparents: Patricia Thomas, Jeffery Carter, Sherri and Walter Murphy, Jessie and Vanessa Peterson, Earlene and Bobby Doe, and Earlene Thomas; and host of aunts and uncles: Yolanda and Willie Jones, Kattisha Davis, Martha Allen, Sophia and Johnny Sanders, Kimberly Staten, Chondria Washington, Zackery and Cherlean Peterson, Anglie Washington, Lantra Snell, Velsheda Carter, Makeda Thames, Tammy and Mike Davis, Monica and Boobie Jones; a god-son: Christopher Kerr; a very special father figure: Lemoyne Goodin; two godfathers: Marvin Fredrick and Lewis Doe; special friends: Jada, Roxander, Clara, Mackenzie, Chesley, Rakeem and Sgt. Cirton; and a host of cousins, family, and friends.

The Celebration of Life for the late Ms. Breanna Staten will be held Sunday, March 26, 2017 at 10:00am from the sanctuary of Universal Deliverance Church.

Apostle Naomi McCowan is the pastor.

Public viewing will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 10:00am - 8:00pm at Godfrey Funeral Home.
