Brenda Onita Williams

Brenda Onita Williams was born February 6, 1960, in Valdosta, GA, to the late James and Onettie J. Williams.

During her childhood years, she was educated in the Valdosta School System in Valdosta, GA.

Brenda was the backbone of her family and viewed as a true angel from heaven by so many. She loved her family and in return was well loved by her family and friends. Being one of the sweetest person you would ever want to know, Brenda was a heart of gold. She was a kind hearted and gentle soul who gave of herself to her family.

A loyal and honest person was she to her family and friends. You could always count on Brenda to keep her word and do just what she said she was going to do.

On Wednesday, January 22nd, the Lord called Brenda into a place of rest and healing from her journey on earth

In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her significant companion and the father of her children: Joyce “Buddy” Berrian; one sister:  Margaret Troy, three brothers: Henry Williams, Edward Williams, and James Williams, Jr.; and her grandparents: Frank Johns, Hattie Johns, John Williams, and Cora Williams.

Left to celebrate her life and cherish memories are her two beloved sons: Antwane Berrian and Corey Berrian of Valdosta, GA; four sisters:  Louise Proctor, Mattie Alexander, and Carolyn W. Robinson of Valdosta, GA, and Loretha Sessions (Melvin) of Cleveland, OH; one brother: John Lewis Williams of Valdosta, GA; her two adoring grandchildren: A’narion Carter and   A’Dareon Berrian of Albany, GA; three special nieces: Marilyn Troy, Latonya Akins, and Benita Stevenson of Valdosta, GA; a special friend: Vergaree  Newsome of Valdosta, GA, and a host of family and friends.

The Celebration of Life for the late Brenda Onita Williams will be Sunday, February 2, 2020, 2:00 p.m., West Hill Church of Christ, 1416 W. Hill Ave., Valdosta, GA.

Brother Justin Moore will officiate.

Interment, Pallbearers Cemetery, Valdosta, GA

Public viewing, Saturday, February 1, 2020, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Godfrey Funeral Home.
