Mrs. Camille Burgman Alleyne

Camille Burgman Alleyne born May 14, 1949, in Lowndes County (Valdosta) Georgia. She is the daughter of the late Eleanor Burgman.

Camille attended the public school system of Lowndes County and graduated from Westside High School with honors in 1966. She later attended the New York Business School and received an Associate Degree in Secretarial Science in March, 1979. She applied that degree to working in the corporate environment and the legal profession for more than 35 years.

She enjoyed traveling and traveled the world visiting places such as France, England, Asia, Alaska, the Caribbean many times over, as well as parts of Central America.

In addition to her parents, Camille is preceded in death by her grandparents and one brother: Ronnie Keith Wilcox.

Camille leaves to mourn, her husband: Christian David Alleyne; one son: Craig Burgman; three sisters: Patricia Burgman, Loretta Wilcox, and Lisa Wilcox; her four brothers: Kenneth Scruggs, Carl Wilcox (Patricia), Richard Wilcox (Angie), and Archie Wilcox; one aunt: Yvonne Scott (James); one uncle: Harold Elam; six stepdaughters; one stepson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The celebration of life for the late Mrs. Camille Burgman Alleyne will be held Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 3:00pm from the sanctuary of Morning Star Baptist Church.

Dr. William C. Morgan will officiate.

Interment will follow in Southview Cemetery.
