Carolyn Dolson

Carolyn Dolson was born August 30, 1948, in Valdosta GA to the late Arie Holt and the late Ola Mae Miller Williams.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: William Dolson; one son: Carlester Leroy Wright; one brother: Sam Miller and one sister: Betty Jean Odom.

She leaves to cherish her memories; her children: Wilhemina Yvette Aluko (Maurice) and William Dolson, Jr., of Paterson, NJ; four grandchildren: Darryl Wright, Mariah Wright, Zakiyah Balbonet and William Balbonet III, all of Paterson, NJ; two sisters: Charlie Mae Copeland of Valdosta, GA and Dorothy Lee Williams of Tuscaloosa, AL; two brothers: Willie Scott of Sanford, FL, and Charles Miller of Valdosta, GA; four nieces: Alvonia Odom and Quatera Odom of Paterson, NJ, Freddie Mae Copeland, Sr., and Kim Brandon of Valdosta, GA; two nephews: Harvey Copeland of Valdosta, GA, and Ronnie Odom of Paterson, NJ, one daughter in-law: Sheria Smiley of Paterson, NJ; son in-law: Yacouba Balbonet: god-daughter: Tamira Mosely; special friends: Renee Lynch, Evangelist Merlene Scurry and Clemons Williams and a host of family and friends.

The homegoing celebration for Mrs. Carolyn Dolson will be held Saturday, January 26,2013 at 3:00pm at the Godfrey Funeral Home Chapel.

Minister David Smiley will officiate.

Burial will follow at the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
