Catherine Mcbride

Catherine “Rine” McBride was born in Sandersville, GA, to the late George and Susie Mae Adkins-Baker.

Catherine was a very loving, caring and spiritual person that enjoyed family life to it’s fullest. She was thoughtful and considerate to everyone. She accepted Christ into her life at an early age.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by all of her siblings.

Left to cherish her memory: one son: Clinton McBride of Rochester, NY; a multitude of grandchildren: John L. Lewis of Trenton, NJ, William McBride, Teresa Brown, Troy Lee McBride of Rochester, NY; Henry Lee McBride of Waycross, GA; Diane Fulton, Gloria Jean McBride, James Anderson, Janice Anderson, Randy Anderson, Reginald McBride all of Valdosta, GA, Gwendolyn Lewis, Barbara (Thomas) Walker of Atlanta, GA and Cynthia Anderson of Lakeland, FL; a special great-granddaughter: Nekima “Kim” Berrian, who took care of her during her illness and thirty great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

A special thanks to Mrs. Charlene Daniels for going above and beyond to help assist with our dear, Catherine and a very special thanks to all of her care givers: Dr. Anderson and Staff, United Hospice and Cura Care.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, September 03, 2011 at 12:00pm at Mt.Carmel HOGSIC located at 1106 Lake Park Rd., in Valdosta. Rev. David Northcutt will officiate.

Interment will follow at the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
