Brittany Vestavia Jenkins was born April 30, 1988, in Valdosta, Georgia to Jessie Moore Frazier and Lennard Howell.
Brittany was educated in the Valdosta City School System and was a proud member of the Class of 2006. She later answered the call of her country and enlisted in the United States Navy. True to the Navy’s Creed, she was committed to excellence and the fair treatment of all. She served her country’s Navy combat team with honor, courage, and commitment.
Brittany was a unique, extra-ordinary young lady. She was giving and loving. Inspiring to all who knew her. There was sunshine in her smile and a source of joy in her laughter. She was one of life’s best gifts, someone to treasure all life through, she was caring thoughtful and true. Though small in stature, Brittany was big in personality and strength. She could easily be called “Ms. Independent”. She possessed a certain level of courage not to back down from a decision she’d made. This strength allowed her to endure sorrow in great measure, as she was stung by illness too, but neither could defeat her, for she knew one day the Master would come for her too.
On Monday, August 22, 2016, Brittany fought her last fight and victory was won, she’s now resting eternally, safe in His arms.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Jesse and Marie Moore.
