It is with deepest sympathy Godfrey Funeral Home announces Deacon David Hart, Sr., age 87, of Valdosta, GA, departed this life Saturday, June 26, 2021, at his residence.

Celebration of Life for the late Deacon David Hart, Sr. will be Saturday, July 3, 2021, 3:00 p.m., from the sanctuary of Morning Star Baptist Church, 1051 Howell Road, Valdosta, GA.

Dr. William C. Morgan will officiate

Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, 3835 White Water Road, Valdosta.

Public viewing will be Friday, July 2, 2021, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Godfrey Funeral Home.

All those who wish to pay their respect in person must wear a mask during visitation and at the service.
