It is with deepest sympathy Godfrey Funeral Home announces, Mrs. Dorothy Mae Simmons, age 94, departed this life Saturday, April 19, 2025.

The Celebration of Life for the late Mrs. Dorothy Mae Simmons, will be Saturday, May 3, 2025, 1:00 p.m., at Morning Star Baptist Church, 1051 Howell Rd., Valdosta, GA.

Dr. William C. Morgan will be officiating. Pastor Naamen Hooker is Senior Pastor.

Interment will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Valdosta, GA.

The public viewing will be Friday, May 2, 2025, from 12:00 Noon to 7:00 p.m. at Godfrey Funeral Home, 636 River Street, Valdosta, GA.
