Elmo Hadley, Jr

Elmo Hadley, Jr. was born in Thomasville, Georgia on May 3, 1954 to the union of Elmo and Thelma Hadley, who preceded him in death. Elmo attended school in the Thomas County school district and graduated in 1972. He departed this life on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at South Georgia Medical Center, Valdosta, Georgia.

Upon graduation Elmo enlisted in the United States Marine Corps as a Rifleman and Proof Technician where he was honorably discharged.

He leaves to cherish his memory his two sisters, Janice (Wallace) Strickland, Valdosta, Georgia and Loretta Brown, Thomasville, Georgia; three nieces, Lisa Hadley, Thomasville, Georgia, Chandra Rogers, Hillsborough, New Jersey, Pamela Hadley, Jonesboro, Georgia; four great nieces, Chyna Hadley, Imani, and Najaa Hudson and Amber Cochran; two great nephews, Janius Hadley and Eric Hollis; and several great, great nieces, cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service for the late Mr. Elmo Hadley, Jr., will be Friday, January 19, 2018, 12:00 p.m. at New Life Ministries, 5651 Inner Perimeter Road, Valdosta. Pastor J. Bernard Braswell, II, will officiate.
