It is with deepest sympathy Godfrey Funeral Home announces Sis. Ernestine Nelson, age 92, departed this life Thursday, May 25, 2023.

The Celebration of Life for the late Sis. Ernestine Nelson, will be Saturday, June 3, 2023, 11:00 a.m., at Adel Church of God, 9208 Val Del Road, Adel, GA.

Elder Gene Godfrey will be officiating.

Interment will follow in the Adel City Cemetery, 1102 Industrial Parkway, Adel, GA, 31620

Public viewing will be June 2, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Godfrey Funeral Home, 636 River Street, Valdosta, GA; and from 2 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Elm Street Church of Christ, 503 N. Elm Street, Adel, GA.

All those who wish to pay their respect in person must wear mask at the public viewing and the funeral service.
