Eula enjoyed life and believed in helping others through word, thought and deed. She was a care giver for many of her family members and well respected in her community, neighborhood and church. Eula obeyed the gospel in 1957 and was a faithful member of Southside Church of Christ for 61 years.
In addition to her parents, Eula was preceded in death by one sister: Dorothy Green; one granddaughter: Deidra Miller and one grandson: Charlie Godfrey, Jr.
Eula leaves a legacy of love and cherished memories. She will be sadly missed by her children: Irene Miller (Arthur), Charlie “Gene” Godfrey, Sr. (Vivian), Herman Godfrey, Sr. (Sharon), Leroy Godfrey, Jr. (Neatha) and Xavier Godfrey, Sr. (Cecelia).
