Mrs. Evelyn Johnson Jackson

Evelyn Gee Jackson, 67, of Valdosta, GA, departed this life on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at South Georgia Medical Center.

She was born on October 12, 1947, in Statenville, GA.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter: Wanda Gee Foster.

She is survived by two daughters: Henrietta Stokes (Jerry Wallace) and Mary Walker ( Mike); two sons: James Johnson (Phyllis) and Sovoil Johnson (Rhonda Yearby); one step-son: Arthur Wright:; six grandchildren: Des Stokes, Lionel Stokes (Trika), Tiffany Henderson, Tyree Townes, Tytiana Green, and Myanna Johnson; six great-grandchildren; special friends: Henry Bass, Doretha Duncan, Susie Kiers; special cousin: David Troy; and a host of family and friends.

The celebration of life for the late Mrs. Evelyn Gee Jackson will be held Saturday, August 22, 2015, at 10:00am in the Godfrey Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow in Pallbearers Cemetery.
