It is with deepest sympathy Godfrey Funeral Home announces Ms. Evelyn James, age 72, departed this life Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

The Celebration of Life for the late Ms. Evelyn James will be Saturday, June 29, 2024, 2:00 p.m., at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, 4541 St. Mark Church Road, Delmar, GA.

Rev. Dr. John H. Manning is pastor and will be officiating.

Interment will follow in the Harrington Rest Cemetery, Naylor, Ga 31641.

Public viewing will be Friday, June 28, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Godfrey Funeral Home, Valdosta, GA.
