Felecia Newsome

Felecia Andrea Newsome was born April 1, 1973 to the parents of Rosetta Reynolds and the late Melvin Morrell Townsend in Valdosta, GA. Felecia departed this life on February 7, 2011. She received her education in the Valdosta City School System. She was also a member of Conquerors Deliverance Center under the leadership of Bishop James Smith and Pastor Sabrina Smith.

In addition to her father, Felecia was preceded in death by her Grandmother: Rosa Lee Newsome; Grandfather: L.C. Newsome; Great-grandmother: Mary Lee Sloan and one Sister: Alita Morrell.

She leaves to lament her life ending transition, a loving Mother: Rosetta Reynolds; Step-father: Eddie Lee Reynolds; a loving and devoted Companion: Thomas Contreras; three Sisters: Leslie (John) Lasane, Monica (Ralph) Newsome and Tamicka (Bobby) Woodson; one Step-sister: Adrian Molley; three Brothers: Aaron (Debra) Stokes, Melvin Morrell Jr. and Pete Stokes; two Aunts: Jeraldine Scott and Linda (George) Roberts; two Great-aunts: Bertha Mae Austin and Ann Marie Wright; two Great-grandmothers: Thelma Whitehead and Corine Thomas; God-daughter: Latoya Burns; God-mother: Jeanette Anderson; two best Friends: Lashonda Anderson and Regina Wrice and a host of sorrowing family and friends.

The funeral services for Ms.Felecia A. Newsome will be held on Thursday Febuary 24, 2011 at 3:00 PM from the sanctuary of the Greater Pleasant Temple Baptist Church Rev. Varquis Lewis, Pastor, with Bishop James Smith Officiating. Interment will be in the Pallbearers Cemetery. Godfrey Funeral Home, LLC is in charge of all arrangements.
