Mrs. Florine Akins Thomas, fondly known as “Flora”, was born February 1, 1926 in Brooks County, GA, to the late Oscar and Mamie Akins.
Only once will you have the opportunity to be loved by someone who could never love you too much. That was our Flora. She was a giver of herself. Ms. Flora was a strong woman, who did not mind voicing her opinion. She stood firm in her beliefs. In her presence was fullness of joy. She was jazzy, prissy, loving, energetic and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was truly an amazing woman, one of life’s best gifts. Most importantly, Flora loved the Lord.
Mother Flora A. Thomas went to be with the Lord Thursday, September 25, 2014.
