Grace Johnson

Mrs. Grace Holtzendorff Johnson, 92, of Valdosta, passed this life at her residence on Friday, March 4, 2011.  She is survived by five daughters: Marion Grace Duckworth of Valdosta, Cathleen Bradley of Tampa, FL, Maude Johnson of Valdosta, Juanita Sanderson of Tampa, FL and Cecelia (Wesley) Moss of Tampa, FL; Ten grandchildren: Cecelia Bradley, Erika (John) Peterman, Nancy Grace McPherson, Watts Sanderson III, Nikki Joy Duckworth, Marcus Duckworth, Leslie (Ralph) Cadet, Christine Moss, Rhonne Sanderson and Danae Moss; Six great-grandchilden: Ashleigh Rodriguez, Jaren Peterman, Camille Grace Peterman, Caleb McPherson, Akiera Washington and Christian Cadet. Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Johnson will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011 from the sanctuary of The Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1051 Howell Rd., Valdosta, GA. Dr. William C. Morgan, Pastor, with interment in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Public viewing will be held on Friday, March 11, 2011 at the funeral home from 10 am to 8pm. The family will receive public visitation on Friday evening, March 11, 2011 from 6 to 8pm. Services provided by Godfrey Funeral Home, LLC.The family has requested that in lieu of flowers and food, please make donations to the American Heart Associaton in Grace Johnson's name.
