Gwynette Denise Williams was born to Helen Williams and the late Roy Van Williams, December 15, 1957 in Valdosta, Georgia.

She departed this life Wednesday, May 23, 2012.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in by her grandparents: Ruth Collins, Wisby Collins, Bertha Moore and Fender Moore.

Gwynette leaves to cherish her memories one son: David Holmes, Jr.(Shondra) of Valdosta, GA; one grandson: Chase Holmes of Valdosta, GA; three sisters: Phillis Welcome of Valdosta, GA, Sandra Ramsey (Bobby) of Atlanta, GA and Delois Williams of Jasper, FL; two brothers: William Bonner (Yvonne) and Robin Van Williams of Valdosta, GA; aunts and uncles: Juanita Jackson of Peekskill, NY, Maggie Lee of Missouri, J.C. Williams (Francis) of Valdosta, GA; a special aunt; Betty Anderson of Valdosta, GA and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.

Funeral service for Ms. Gwynette Denise Williams, age 54, of Valdosta, GA, will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at 11 a.m., from the sanctuary of St. Paul A.M.E. Church, 419 S. Ashley Street, Valdosta. Pastor Johnny Cook, Sr. will officiate and interment will follow in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
