Henry Clay Marina was born March 6, 1948, in Troy, Alabama to the late Eva Lou Marina and the late Henry Clay Jackson.
Henry was a man who loved life to the fullest. He was very friendly, knew how to make conversation and never met a stranger. He was a dependable, dedicated husband and father who loved his family dearly. Henry met his wife, Addie M. Cox, in 1973 and they later married on March 1, 1975.
When someone would ask him how he was doing, his reply was always the same, “I’m doing good, thanks to the Lord.” Henry was a Christian man who loved God. He became a baptized believer of the gospel of Christ at Dorchester Church of Christ. Daily he gave honor and praise to God, His Son and the Holy Spirit. He would start his days listening to scripture, singing songs and thanking God for all things. For God had always been merciful and gracious toward him and his family.
