Homer Washington

Homer Washington passed away unexpectedly on December 20, 2012 at the age of 85.

He was born on December 4, 1927 to the parents of Jessie and Joe Washington.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Washington; two sisters: Amye Williams and Anie Mae McDaniels and one brother: David Lee Washington.

He leaves to cherish memories, three brothers: Semeion Washington Sr., Columbus Washington and Freeman (Versie) Washington; one sister: Mary Nell Washington; one aunt: Mattie Lee Washington; a favorite niece: Linda (Larry) Adams, a special cousin: Bonita Washington; special friend: Willie Mae Niles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.

The celebration of life for Mr. Homer Washington will be held Wednesday, December 26 at 1:00pm from the Kingdom Hall for Jehovah's Witnesses located at 4244 N. Forrest Street.

Brother Robert White will officate.

Burial will follow at the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
