James Nathaniel King

James Nathaniel King was born to the late Roosevelt King and the late Diane K. Ashley, January 10, 1946 in Valdosta, GA

He made his life ending transition, Monday, August 13, 2012 at the Heritage House Nursing Facility.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister: Dorothy K. Vann; two brothers: Norman J. King and Willie L. King; and one grandson: Juaniquio King.

James leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Shelley Baker King of Valdosta, GA; five children: Nathan King and Sheila Gardner of Valdosta, GA; Wanell King Edwards (Joseph) of Augusta, GA; Sheri Williams and DeShundra King of San Antonio, TX; one sister: Clotele King Berrian (Terry) of Valdosta, GA; one brother: Franklin L. King of Brooklyn, NY; two sisters-in-law; one special nephew: DeVincent Douglas; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.

The homegoing celebration for Mr. James Nathaniel King will be held Saturday, August 18 at 12noon from the sanctuary of Morning Star Baptist Church.

Dr. William C. Morgan will officiate.

Burial will follow at the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
