She was giving, she was loving, and we’ll miss her all our days.

Jeannie Mae West was born September 12, 1949 in Belle Glade, Florida.

There are some who strive for praise: they yearn for world applause; There are some who chase sweet comfort as their one and only cause,
But she was different…

The Lord quietly called Jeannie home, Friday, November 30, 2012 at her place of residence.

When she heard death coming, she didn’t cower in fear; Instead she called out boldly, “My Lord, I’m over here.”

She leaves to cherish her smile and fond memories a host of cousins, family and friends.

And so instead of mourning as we remember her this hour; We celebrate this blooming flower.

The homegoing celebration for the late Mrs. Jeannie Mae West will be held Friday, December 7, at 2:00pm at the Godfrey Funeral Home Chapel.

Pastor Alex Bunion will officiate.

Burial will follow at the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
