John Keeley

John Lee (Jack) Keeley was born March 02, 1928 to the late June Thomas Monroe Keeley and Willie B. Keeley.

On Thursday, December 01, 2011, God called his child to eternal rest.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by two wives: Eloise Williams Keeley and Elizabeth Stewart Keeley, two daughters: Gloria Williams and Vanessa Williams and a grandson: Adrian Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters: Lillie (Willie) Thomas of Statenville, GA and Regina Ferrell of Valdosta, GA; three sisters: Dorothy Mae Keeley of Philadelphia, PA, Rosa Mae Waldon and Sandra Faye Raye of Sparks, GA; four brothers: Willie James (Martha) Keeley, Ulysses Keeley, Morris Lee (Madene) Keeley and Robert Lee (Debra) Keeley of Sparks, GA; ten grandchildren: Michael (Pam) Mitchell, Alfred (Michelle) Williams, Angela Thomas, Chantel Armstrong, Willie Thomas, LaQuita (Michael) Williams, Casey Williams, Jarvis Williams, Kiyondra Williams and Kevin Ferrell; ten great-grandchildren; five sisters in-laws; two brothers in-law; two god-children: Lamar Hitson and Elizabeth Poulian; and a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The homegoing celebration will be held Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 11:00am at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Sparks, GA.


Rev. M.C. Pitts is the pastor. Bishop Horace Brown Sr. will officiate.

Burial will follow at the Sparks Cemetery.
