Joyce Marie Moore

Joyce Marie Williams Moore was born January 6, 1958, in Valdosta, GA, to Ruby Haynes and Joseph Burgman.

A dedicated woman of God, Joyce was a loving and caring soul. Her dedication to God was exemplified by her love for her family, friends, and church. Caring and nurturing caused her hands to reach beyond serving her family and became a blessing to so many people.

She was educated in the Valdosta City School System in Valdosta, GA.

Joyce accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and became a member of Mt. Carmel Holiness Church H.O.G.S.I.C. and remained faithful until God called her home.

On Wednesday, January 15th, the Lord transitioned Joyce from her earthly labor to a place of eternal rest.

In addition to her beloved husband: Henry Moore, Sr., she is preceded in death by one grandchild: Sedric Williams, Jr.; her grandparents: Nathaniel Berrian and Doletha Williams; and one aunt: Delores Williams.

Joyce leaves cherished and lasting memories to her devoted parents: Ruby Haynes and Joseph Burgman; her four loving sons: Marcus Williams of Orlando, FL, Sedric Williams and Calvin Moore (Kashona) of Valdosta, GA, and Anthony Moore of Adel, GA; six step children: Henry Moore, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Connell Moore (Therisie) of Orlando, FL, Debra Major (Earnest) of Riverdale, GA, Shirley Kelly (Michael) and Latonya Salter (Tracy) of Valdosta, GA, and Shalonda Davis (Carlos) of Winter Haven, FL; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one uncle: James Williams of Fayetteville, NC; two aunts: Mary Sheppard of Killeen, TX and Irene Crawford of Cincinnati, OH; three sisters in-law; five brothers in-law; four special friends: Frances Moore, Stacy McDonald, Edwina Braswell, and   Talisha Braswell, all of Valdosta, GA; her Greater Mt. Carmel Family, and a host family and friends.

The Celebration of Life for the late Mrs. Joyce Marie Moore will be Saturday, January 25, 2020, 11:00 a.m., Greater Mt. Carmel Ministry HOGSIC, 1106 Lake Park Road, Valdosta, GA.

Senior Pastor David M. Northcutt will officiate.
