Junior C. Dixon

Junior Dixon was born to the late Bradley Dixon and the late Rena Brewer Dixon on October 24, 1927 in Lakeland, Georgia.

Junior made his life ending transition on Wednesday, July 20 at South Georgia Medical Center.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Georgia Mae Dixon, daughter: Georgia Gerraine Dixon, a grandson: Donald Craig Dixon Jr and a sister-in-law: Bernice Wallace.

Junior leaves to cherish his memory one daughter: Lurene Dixon Allen and one son: Donald Craig Dixon Sr., both of Pensacola, FL; one brother: Eddie James Wallace of Lakeland, GA; one step-brother: Eddie James Charles of Glennville, GA; one uncle: Senior Dixon of Jacksonville, FL; a host of nieces and nephews: Jerry Wallace of Lakeland, GA, April B. McQueen of Valdosta, GA, Shirley Thomas of Woodland Hills, CA, Bobby Wallace of Gainesville, FL, Irene Wallace, Shelly Wallace and Eddie James Wallace Jr. all of St. Petersburg, FL; nineteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law and host of sorrowing family and friends.

Special thanks to the staff of Crestwood Nursing Home and South Georgia Medical Center.

The homegoing celebration for Mr. Dixon will be held Saturday, July 30 at 12pm at the Godfrey Funeral Chapel. Rev.James Miller will officiate. Burial will follow at the Charles Knight Cemetery.
