Kenneth Tyrone Crawford was the fourth child born to Mr. Floyd Crawford and the late Willa Marie Hunter Crawford.
He was educated in the Lowndes County School System and was a proud member of the 1971 graduating class of Lowndes High School. Kenneth continued his education at North Florida Junior College and received his certification as a Automotive Technician. Later, he answered the call to his country and enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served from 1972-1976. Continuing the call of service, he joined the Unites States Air Force Reserve from 1976-1990. Following his time of service, he became employed by the City of Tallahassee and retired from J.R.O.C. Trucking, LLC.
Kenneth was passionate about farming. He enjoyed hobbies such as: riding tractors, car racing and riding his motorcycle. Kenneth was quite a debonair gentleman. He was charming, loved being well-groomed and could be often seen dressed in Afro-centric attire.
Recognizing he needed a Savior, Kenneth joined Woods Chapel AME Church and was a long-time member. He served faithfully as a Steward, Trustee and Church School Superintendent.
On Saturday, August 5, 2017, the Master commanded that his airman take his last flight from labor to rest.
