Ms. Keshia Laverne Clark

March 4, 1970 — July 18, 2014

Keshia Laverne Clark was born to Ethel Clark and the late Odell Clark, March 04, 1970, in Valdosta, GA.

Educated in the Valdosta City Schools, Keshia graduated from Valdosta High School in 1988 and furthered her education at Valdosta State University.

There are some who race for power, thinking it will bring them joy, but Keisha knew hard work and determination was needed for everlasting joy. Her 26years of service at the McDonald’s Corporation allowed her to demonstrate her belief and integrity by providing excellent customer service to her customers. She loved the Lord and her family . She was special, she was unique in a thousand ways—intelligent, spontaneous, humble, meek and mild. Her legacy is friendship, she was so giving of her time. Her legacy is love, God’s love, gentle and kind.

A radiant smile was hers until the Lord granted her eternal rest Friday, July 18, 2014.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her grandparents: Tobbie Locklear, Ada Mae Locklear, Nelson Clark and Dora Lee Adam; aunts and uncles: Ashmon Locklear, Vinson Locklear, Tobbie Locklear, Jr., and Otis Locklear.

Keshia leaves her legacy of love to her son whom she adored: Ferringhetti Brown of Valdosta, GA; a devoted mother: Ethel Clark of Valdosta, GA; three sisters: Janie Clark of Lithia Springs, GA, Queenie Clark and Odella Kier, both of Valdosta, GA; one brother: Dennis Locklear (Alisha) of Memphis, TX; aunts and uncles: Erlish Locklear (Martha), Marjorie Miller, and Ronnie Locklear (Janice), all of Lakeland, GA, Kenneth Locklear (Shirley) of Valdosta, GA, Charlie Mae Locklear of Jacksonville, FL, and Roosevelt Riley of Newnan, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her McDonald’s family.
