Kirby James Alexander was born January 4, 1958 to Jack Alexander and Martha Alexander in Boynton Beach, FL.
Kirby was one of life’s best gifts, someone to treasure all life through. Good with his hands, Kirby was a hard worker and a man of integrity. Once he purposed in his heart, a task to be done, he would not give up until the task was complete, even if it challenged his will, strength and health. His zeal would sometimes cause his strong will to venture over to stubbornness and a strong opinion; those who knew him understood his no-nonsense policy. He was reliable, strong, compassionate and kind, someone on whom you could depend.
On March 22, 1986, Kirby took the hand of his high school sweetheart, Ronda Matthews, to be his wife. They later became the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl, Cherell. He loved and adored his family, faithful to the end.
On December 28, 2013, the Lord granted Kirby eternal rest.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents: Sidney Alexander, Jack Alexander, Ebernezer Davis and Jimmie Davis and five brothers: Ronald Alexander, Gregory Alexander, Michael Alexander, Norman Alexander and Fredrick Alexander.
Kirby leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted wife of 27 years: Ronda Alexander of Valdosta, GA; one loving daughter: Cherell Alexander; four sisters: Margaret Alexander of Delray Beach, FL, Ann Alexander Davis of Ruskin, FL, Hope Hartage (Maurice) of Riverview, FL and Jacqueline Robinson (Dennis) of Lakeland, FL; three brothers: Daryl Alexander and Timothy Alexander of Delray Beach, FL, and Verwayne Alexander of Arcadia, FL; a host of aunts and uncles: Mary Spencer (Wallance) of Quitman, GA, Areatha Sheppard (Cornelius) of Hampton, VA, Jerry Alexander (Maxine) of Valdosta, GA and Ernestine Davis of Washington, DC; special friends: Roy Smith, Benjamin Dexter, Ron Walker, Jerry Lloyd, Sam and Gladys Ivy, and a host of other family members and friends.
