Mrs. Latunda Mccormick Porter

Latunda McCormick Porter, daughter of Wilma McCormick and the late Bobby McCormick, was born March 29, 1968 in Valdosta, GA.

She departed this life on Monday, September 14, 2015.

Latunda possessed a love like no other you can imagine. Her heart was filled with joy, strength, and passion. In her presence, you were sure to be greeted with her contagious smile, laughter and love. Latunda was a zebra print loving Diva Supreme—Great style with Great personality. She used her creativity and sense of style to create beauty in her life and the lives of her family. Her family was her world. She was a woman of worth and beauty inside and out. Always true, thoughtful and kind, wonderful memories she leaves behind.

In addition to her father, Latunda is preceded in death by her grand- parents: Willie B. Brown, Evelyn Brown, Tom McCormick and Alice McCormick; an aunt: Carolyn Worthy; and an uncle: Larry McCormick.

Latunda leaves to celebrate and remember her life to her husband: Tabaris Porter of Valdosta, GA; three children: Qiana Harrell, Devonte Patterson, both of Valdosta, GA and Carlton Harrell, Jr. of Albany, GA; four grandchildren: Camron Brown, Carter Brown and soon to arrive twins: Brysan and Bryce Brown; three sisters: Angela McCormick of Tyler, TX, Tisha McCormick of Arlington, TX, and Veronica Smith (Damion) of Marshall, TX; one brother: Terrance McCormick of NY, NY; step-father: Marvin Williams; mother-in-law: Barbara Porter; two sister-in-law: Andrea and Kenah Porter; one brother-in-law: Marcus Porter; aunts and uncles: Willie B. Brown, Jr., Tom McCormick, and Lillie Ann Hampton; special aunt and uncle: Jerry and Clara Daniels; special niece: Breuntea Perkins; god-son: Aaron Williams, best friend: Sharon Fair; her WalMart family and a host of family and friends.

The celebration of life for the late Mrs. Latunda McCormick Porter will be held Monday, September 21, 2015 at 11:00am from the sanctuary of Grace Victory Church.

Interment will follow in the Pallbearers Cemetery.

Public viewing will be: Saturday, September 19,2015 ~ 10:00am to 5:00pm; Sunday, September 20, 2015,~ 12:00pm to 8:00pm.
