It is with deepest sympathy Godfrey Funeral Home announces, Ms. Lavern C. Wade, age 79, departed this life Saturday, November 29, 2025.
The Celebration of Life for the late Ms. Lavern C. Wade will be Saturday, December 6, 2025, 11:00 a.m., at St. Lewis Missionary Baptist Church, 679 Hwy. SR-135, Naylor, GA.
Interment will follow at Charles Knight Cemetery, 36 N. College Street, Lakeland, GA 31635.
Public viewing will be Friday, December 5, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Godfrey Funeral Home, 636 River Street, Valdosta, GA.
The family graciously asks that you visit them only on Friday, December 5, 2025 at the Naylor Community Center, 6030 Savannah Ave, Naylor, GA 31641, between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
