It is with deepest sympathy Godfrey Funeral Home announces Ms. Laverne J. Howell, age 83, departed this life Friday, September 13, 2024.

The Celebration of Life for the late Ms. Laverne J. Howell will be Saturday, September 21, 2024, 3:00 p.m., at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 5009 GA Hwy 122 E., Hahira, GA 31632.

Dr. Norman J. Edwards is pastor and will be officiating.

Interment will follow at Mt. Zion AME Church Cemetery, 4011 N. Oak St. Ext., Valdosta, GA, 31605.

Public viewing will be Friday, September 20, 2024, from 12:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Godfrey Funeral Home, Valdosta, GA
