Leola Duncan

Leola Duncan was born July 01, 1936 in Miccosukee, FL, to the late Herbert and Daisy Bell Jeff. Her life was full of loving deeds, forever thoughtful of others needs. She was caring, and loving, thoughtful and true, filled with kindness through and through. God put His loving arms around Leola, Thursday, February 21, 2014 and granted her eternal rest. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four children: Rev. Earnest Duncan, Loretha Duncan, Lizzy Jean Duncan, and Timothy Duncan; two sister: Camilla Jeff and Dorothy Bush; four brothers: Charlie Jeff, Amos Jeff, Herbert Jeff and Hubert Jeff; and one aunt: Cilla Ross. Leola leaves to cherish her memories: six children: Doretha Duncan, Ron Duncan and Fredrick Duncan of Valdosta, GA, Geralene Cowart (Terry) of Virginia Beach, VA, Ronnie Duncan (Arlene) of Tampa, FL and Eddie Duncan, Jr. (Deidra) of Adel, GA; twenty five grandchildren; thirty eight great-grandchildren; one sister in-law; one brother in-law; a special grand daughter in-law: Grace Duncan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The homegoing celebration will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 11:00am in the Godfrey Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Timothy Riser will officiate. Private burial to follow.
