Mr. Leon Graham, Sr.

Leon Graham, Sr. was born in Valdosta, Georgia to the late Mildred and Jessie Graham, Sr.

Leon was a energetic, fun-loving man. He will be most remembered by his huge smile that was a source of joy to all. Leon’s heart was filled with love followed by his caring ways. He took pride in being a father and loved his family. His family could count on him being there through the good and bad times.

Leon knew a lot of pleasure and at times endured pain. He found himself living life in the sunshine while yet enduring the rain. Our comfort is in knowing, he’ll never experience them all again.

Leon departed this life Saturday, April 1, 2017.

Leon leaves to remember his life, three children: Leon Graham, Julie Sapp and Keith Sapp, all of Valdosta, GA; six sisters: Rosa Botford of Valdosta, GA, Joann Garrett of Kokomo, IN, Hazel Comas (Melvin) of Mid West City, OK, Earnestine Doe of Valdosta, GA, Mildred Woods (Donald) of Valdosta, GA and Gwen Smith of Atlanta, GA; his two brothers: James Graham (Jestine) of Macon, GA and Johnny Graham (Mary) of Killeen, TX; a very special friend: Stephanie Sapp; five sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

The celebration of life for the late Mr. Leon Graham, Sr. will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 11:00am in the Godfrey Funeral Home Chapel.

Rev. James Graham will officiate.
