It is with deepest sympathy Godfrey Funeral Home announces Mr. Levon Denard Morrell, age 46, departed this life Sunday, November 20, 2022, in Atlanta, GA.

The Celebration of Life for the late Mr. Levon Denard Morrell, will be Saturday, November 26, 2022, 1:00 p.m., from the sanctuary of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 5009 GA Hwy 122, Hahira, GA, 31632.

Dr. Norman Edwards will be officiating.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

There will be no Repast due to Covid Restrictions.

All those who wish to pay their respect in person must wear mask at the funeral service.

Mr. Levon Denard Morrell was born June 21, 1976, to the late Michael Anthony Morrell and Wilhelmenia Morrell in Valdosta, GA.

Levon was educated in the Lowndes County school system and was a graduate of Lowndes County High School.  He gave his life to Jesus Christ at an early age and remained faithful to God to the end of his journey.  One could never forget his beautiful smile, carefree attitude and quiet nature.  He loved life, he loved his family, and he loved comics and sports.

On Sunday, November 20, 2022, Levon transitioned from this life to eternal rest.

Levon is preceded in death by his father: Michael Anthony Morrell; and his grandfather: Joseph McFadden Sr.

He leaves to cherish precious memories, his daughter: Jyah LaVon Morrell, Douglasville, GA; stepson: Jordan Lyons, Houston, TX; mother: Wilhelmenia Morrell, Austell, GA; brother: Daryl Antonio Morrell (Nuwana), Mableton, GA; grandmother: Eulene McFadden, Valdosta, GA; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
