Lisa Mceady

Mrs. Lisa Washington McEady, age 44, of 2110 Houston Ave, Valdosta, GA, passed at her residence on Wednesday October 20, 2010, after a brief illness.
Lisa was born October 17, 1966 to Mrs. Barbara Gaitor and Mr. Freeeman Washington. She received her formal education in the Valdosta City School System, graduating from Valdosta High School in 1984. She was employed by South Georgia Medical Center as an Analytical Tech in the lab.
Lisa was preceded in death by her grandfather, Wisdon Edwards, and her aunt, Jeanette Lewis.
She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving and devoted husband, Mr. Charles McEady; two daughters: Alexis and Diara McEady; two step-daughters: Teneisha Hampton and Andrea N. Lee; her mother, Barbara (Addison) Gaitor; her father, Freeman Washington; one brother, Addison Gaitor, Jr.; three sisters: Tammy Miller, Wanda Bell, and Natasha Washington; grandmother, Elvira Williams; two aunts: Julia (Barney) Wilson and Mary (Junior) Williams; three uncles: Joseph (Carolyn) Edwards, Issac (Linda) Edwards, and Wisdon (Annette) Edwards; in-laws: Annie (Alphard) Boone and Charles (Lillie) McEady; a special cousin, Linda Adams; special friends: Sherry Mosley, Pamela Brown, Tracey Williams, Cheryl Peeler, Faye O’Neal; Tara McEady, Renee Council, Tiffany Enmon; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lisa McEady will be on Saturday October 23, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the sanctuary of St. James Missionary Baptist Church, 104 ½ Wisenbaker Lane, Valdosta, GA. Pastor Thomas J. Haynes will officiate. Interment will follow in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Public viewing will be today from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Godfrey Funeral Home.
