It is with deepest sympathy Godfrey Funeral Home announces Mr. Luther Javann Matchett, age 67, departed this life, August 31, 2020, at the Fellowship Home, Valdosta, GA.

The Celebration of Life for the late Mr. Luther Javann Matchett, will be Tuesday, September 8, 2020, 10:00 a.m., the chapel of Godfrey Funeral Home, immediate family only. Interment will follow in the Tallahassee National Memorial Cemetery, Tallahassee.

Public Viewing will be Monday, September 7, 2020, noon to 8:00 p.m., Godfrey Funeral Home.

All those who wish to pay their respect in person must wear a mask during public viewing.
