Malcom Bernard Chipp

Malcom Bernard Chipp was born April 14, 1973 to the late Rose Mary Chipp and the late Lee Nora Thompson, Jr. in Hahira, GA.

He grew up in Lowndes County and was educated in the Valdosta City School System. He had a great sense of humor and was very outgoing.

Malcom understood the value of hard work, family and loyalty. He loved his family and friends, faithful to the end.

Malcom made his life ending transition Saturday, November 30, 2013.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents: Mary Gibson, Elijah Gibson, Verdell Thompson and Lee Nora Thompson, Sr.; mother in-law: Alma Dennard; and one uncle; Bobby Harris.

Malcom leaves to cherish his memories, his wife: Rabirah Chipp; four children: Mykayla Chipp, Aaniyah Thomas, Malikk Chipp, and Malcom Williams; one granddaughter: Tamia Willis; one sister: Tracy Chipp Hancock; father in-law: Ralph Thomas (Laverne); a host of aunts and uncles: Wanda Thomas (Larry), Colether Conaway (Will), Stephanie Cleveland (Darryl), Roy Gibson, Anthony James (Carina), Samuel Gibson, Willie James, Phyllis Gibson, Christine Thomas, Charlie Mae Porter (Curtis), Helen Lane, Beatrice Griffin, Emma Sims, Ella Thompson, Lorenza Thompson, Barney, Thompson (Sharon), Rodger Thompson, Louis, Deborah, Evelyn, Linda James Allen and David James; nieces and nephews: John Hancock, Kalvin, Kira, Shonda, and Gwen Harris; special nieces: Jessica Hancock, Sierra Hancock, and Khadijah Hancock; special cousins: Johnny Thomason (Pam), Demonte James (Tameka), Quaneata Berry (DeAngelo), Felicia Jones and Latoya Sherman (Robert); devoted friends: Jackie Major, George Gates III, Eddie Rawls, Jimmy Wade, Leroy Tooley, Khadarius Cleveland; and a host of other family and friends.

The Celebration of Life for "Chipp" will be held Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 12pm from the sanctuary of Abundant Life Church of God.

Wayne Hughes is the Pastor.

Dr. Ronnie J. Mathis will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
