On Monday, October 5, 2015, Martha Ann Poulian was called home to glory.

She was born on November 18, 1956, to David and Elizabeth Miller in Valdosta, GA. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age at Tabernacle COGIC.

Martha Ann was educated in the Valdosta City School System where she met and married her high school sweetheart, David L Poulian Sr. on October 31, 1976.

She was employed at Levi’s Strauss Company for 10 years, but her true passion was taking care of her family and a love for children. She was a Foster Parent to many and Godmother to countless others. She was 1st Lady at New Jerusalem COGIC for 18 yrs. Her smile would light up a room and her wit kept everyone laughing.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Elder David Miller, Sr. and Mary Miller, Luther Williams Sr., Lillie Mae (Willie) Cornelius and Mother-in-law: Minnie Lee Cushion.

Martha leaves behind to treasure her memories a husband of 39 years, David L Poulian Sr.; her 6 children: Nekesha C. Poulian (Valdosta, GA), David L. Poulian, Jr. (Myrtle Beach, SC), Latayla D. C. Poulian, Brandon Poulian, Krystal Poulian, and Jarvis D. Poulian (Valdosta, GA); 2 Grandchildren: James D. Henry and Braylon Walker; 2 Sisters: Esther Chandler (Valdosta, GA) and Rosetta (Freddie) Spates (Jacksonville, FL); 4 Brothers: Joseph Miller, David D. (Angela) Miller, Alonzo (Kim) Miller, and Quentin (Anetra) Miller (Valdosta, GA); 2 Sisters-in-law: Betty Thomas and Ella Mae (Rayfield) Scurry; 1 Brother-in-law: Cairo (Elizabeth) Poulian (Jacksonville, FL); Aunts and Uncles: Bartow (Lucille) Williams, Catherine Denard, Ethel Mae Love, Luther (Sallie) Williams, Carolyn Denmark, Clarence (Mary) Jones, Martha Smith, Roselle Jones, Christine Oneal and Lucille Jones; Special Friend: Sherrie Taylor; God-Children: Tiffany, Lamonte, Tron, Terrance, Alana, Chaela, and Dionne, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.

The celebration of life for the late Mrs. Martha Ann Poulian will be held Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 11:00am from the sanctuary of Union Cathedral.

Bishop Wade S. McCrae is the Senior Pastor.

Elder Alonzo Miller will officiate.

Interment will follow in Pallbearers Cemetery.
