It is with deepest sympathy Godfrey Funeral Home announces, Ms. Maxine R. Lawrence, age 85, departed this life Monday, December 23, 2024.

The Celebration of Life for the late Ms. Maxine R. Lawrence, will be Sunday, December 29, 2024, 1:00 p.m., at Hayes Chapel Baptist Church, 15838 Adel Hwy., Barney, GA, 31625.

Pastor Joseph L. Mobley will be officiating.

Interment will follow at the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, 101 Salem Church Road., Barney, GA.

The public viewing will be Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Godfrey Funeral Home, 636 River Street, Valdosta, GA.
