Mildred Mcfarland

November 15, 1928 — December 20, 2011

Mildred Miller McFarland was born to the late Charlie B. Miller, Sr. and the late Willie Jane Watson November 15, 1928.

Her price was more precious than rubies. Strength and dignity were her clothing. When she spoke, her words were wise, and she gave instruction with kindness. A heartwarming smile was hers until the Lord called her home to rest Tuesday, December 20, 2011.

Mildred leaves to cherish her memories five children: Patricia Harris of Jacksonville, FL, Sharon Renee (Paul) Orduna of Omaha, NE, Willie James Jones, Willard (Geneasha) McFarland Jr. and Barbara M. McFarland, all of Valdosta, GA; one brother: Allen J. (Priscilla) Miller of Collinsville, VA; three brothers-in-law: Jimmy Wiggins of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Eddie B. Tucker and Robert Woods of Valdosta, GA; sister in-law: Leila McFarland of Valdosta, GA; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; eight great great-grandchildren; two goddaughters: Laurie Tedesco of Williamsburg, VA and Charlene Williams of Valdosta, GA; and a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
