Mr. Nathan Orr, Jr. was born on April 13, 1944, in Valdosta, GA, to the late Mr. Nathan C. Orr, Sr and Mrs. Cornell Orr.
He graduated from Westside High School in 1963. Shortly after graduation, he married his high school sweetheart in 1964. Nathan and Anita joined hands in marriage and remained for over 53 years and was blessed with seven children. He taught his children a lot about working hard for what you have in life.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son: Julian L. Orr; two brothers: James E. Orr and Billy Hester; one sister: Ruth Freelove; two sisters-in-law: Mary Orr and Mary Burnside; and brother-in-law: Sidney Hodge.
