Ollie Williams

Ollie Williams was born July 8, 1935, in Valdosta, GA, to the late Mr. Mack McMillan and the late Mrs. Ada Brown McMillan.

Her presence was a present to the world. Ollie Williams was unique and one of a kind. She possessed a face with a warm smile, a mouth filled with kind words and a voice of great love. She maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of all who knew her, especially children. Her signature gift of joy was her laughter and funny sense of humor. In her presence was such a atmosphere of warmth and love for her family and friends.

Ollie loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved and supported them unconditionally. She will live on in the hearts and minds of her loving family and friends she left behind.

On Saturday, February 3, 2018, the Lord called his daughter, Ollie, from earthly labor to heavenly rest.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband: Mr. Maso Williams and three brothers: Moses McMillan, Joe (Boy) McMillan and Benjamin (BF) McMillan.

With love sincere and beautiful memories of one so dear, Ollie leaves: her three children: Verlean Young (Otis) of Bellville, FL, Glenda Johnson (Terreal) of Valdosta, GA, and Neatha Godfrey (Leroy) of Valdosta, GA; her two sisters: Margaret Hart of Valdosta, GA and Marrina McMillan of Tampa, FL; one brother: William (WM) McMillan of Valdosta, GA; her nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five sisters-in-law; five brothers-in-law; special friends: Annie Doris Hankins, Juanita Wright and David Hart; and a host of loving family and friends.

The Celebration of Life for the late Mrs. Ollie Williams will be Saturday, February 10, 2018, 2:00 P.M., at the chapel of Godfrey Funeral Home.

Bro. Charlie Gene Godfrey will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Bellville Community Cemetery, NW 26th Avenue, Jennings, FL.

Public viewing will be Friday, February 9, 2018, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Godfrey Funeral Home.
