Pearline Edwards

Pearline Holloway Edwards was born to the late Theodore Holloway and Lala McCaskill, July 25, 1927 in Valdosta, GA.

She girded herself with honor and strengthened her ability with patience. She stretched out her hand to the poor and reached out to the needy. She was a giver of herself and considered her own desires last. A heartwarming smile was hers until the end.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Willie Lee “Cut” Edwards, Jr., one sister: Florice Holloway; two brothers: Robert McCaskill and Washington McCaskill; and her grandparents: Alfred and Henrietta McCaskill, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Holloway.

Pearline leaves to cherish her memories: her children: Jeanette Davis, Marilyn Johnson, Bruce Edwards (Tamika) of Valdosta, GA, Annette Scott (Milford) of Phoenix City, AL, Joan Jackson (Stanley) of Orlando, FL, Douglas Edwards (LaMeeka) and James Edwards of Atlanta, GA; one sister: Delois Bivins of Valdosta, GA; one brother: Jack McCaskill (Minnie) of Valdosta, GA; one aunt: Idella Holloway Register of Valdosta, GA; sister in-law: Earnestine McCaskill of Valdosta, GA; eighteen grandchildren; twenty one great –grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Pearline Edwards will be held Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 11:00am at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Bro. John Prichett will officiate.

Burial will follow at the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
